The plane is divided into large, uneven fields that almost meet at the crack but hold a fraction of a millimeter apart. Surface otherwise still: no texture, no gradient, flat matte color meeting flat matte color. Along the crack line, a faint tremor — a jagged, irregular edge, like pressure without release.
