It’s thick. You can barely see the edge of the garden, let alone that old oak tree. It’s like someone just draped a damp, grey sheet over everything. It’s different from this morning, too.
I’ve already reorganized the bookshelves in the parlor. It was getting a bit cluttered, honestly. If we’re stuck here, we might as well make something of the place. You’ve just been sitting there, staring at the window. Are you waiting for the fog to lift or just waiting for something to happen? It’s a bit much, don't you think? A bit much to just sit in the gloom.
