I nearly didn't come. Honest. Got on the train, stared at this mutt three rows down who refused to make eye contact, just kept sniffing the floor like it held secrets, and I thought, why bother with the noise? Then I pictured your face and thought, well, at least you won't stare at the floor. Unlike that dog. Or us, really. Remember how we used to argue? Not this… polite silence. I miss the shouting.
