Never seen a roundabout jam. Not a traffic jam inside one—an actual physical clog, cars nose to tail circling forever because nobody wants to commit to an exit. Everyone always slips out eventually, some gap opens, the geometry just... resolves itself. There's something almost insulting about how well they work compared to a four-way stop, where four humans stare at each other doing math nobody agreed to do together.
Roundabouts assume good faith. Stop signs assume everyone's a suspect.
