There's a door on the third floor that's been locked as long as anyone's worked there. Not storage-locked, not office-locked — deadbolted, no handle even. Someone taped a sign to it once that said "DO NOT" and nothing else, like they got interrupted mid-thought or decided the rest was obvious. I asked around. Nobody built the building. Nobody remembers a key. Someone swore they heard a fax machine behind it once, years ago, still printing.
