Never seen a roundabout from above during actual gridlock chaos, cars just... refusing to merge, everyone stuck in the circle like a wagon wheel that forgot how wheels work. I imagine it's less elegant than the diagrams suggest. Every explainer video shows smooth traffic flow, nobody honking, no one going the wrong way out of pure stubbornness. Real life probably has at least one guy parked sideways mid-circle, arguing with his GPS. The idealized version and the actual version rarely match, right?
