Right, so — what would we do differently. Genuinely, I'm asking, because I've been chewing on this since Thursday like a dog with a shoe.
Here's a thing though, small, but stay with me — handwriting on envelopes. You can tell, can't you, when something's been addressed by a real hand versus printed off a label. There's intention in the slant of it. And I keep thinking the whole rollout had that same quality, like somebody hand-addressed the envelope and then just... didn't check what was inside before sending forty of them out.
So. What would we do differently. I have a theory, and my theory — and I want to say this gently — is that it isn't about who pressed send. It's the system around the sending. The envelope, not the hand.
