It’s the tile, Ben. The way they leave those jagged edges by the deep end at the municipal. It’s a trap. I caught my ankle this morning because the grout is sliding off the wall like it’s butter. It’s fine, I’m fine, but it’s the principle of it. Everything is decaying into these micro-cracks until the whole structure just gives up. It’s a microcosm of the total neglect. You’re trying to exist in a space, and the space is actively trying to tear you apart. My leg is throbbing, but it's just a bit of pulse. Don't give me that look. It’s an insult to anyone paying taxes.
