It’s very good, but the tiles... they just feel wrong, Sam. I can’t shake the feeling that the craftsman completely misunderstood the grain of the stone. When we sat in that cafe in Bristol, we agreed on something timeless, something that wouldn't feel like a sterile waiting room. Now, standing here, it feels almost too much like one of those municipal swimming pools. You know the ones? That peculiar, echoing sort of grandeur that tries too hard to be civic but ends up just being cold. It has that precise, damp austerity. It’s almost impressive how much effort went into making it feel this hollow. It’s fine, really, it's excellent work if you like that sort of thing, but there's a hollowness to it that's driving me mad. It's almost as if the soul was left out of the blueprint.
